Jammu, March 9: A policeman was arrested after he allegedly shot dead his wife, mother-in-law and father-in-law in Jammu on Tuesday night.
Official sources said the policeman Ravinder Kumar from IRP fired upon his wife Seema Devi, mother-in-law Raj Kumari, and father-in-law Romesh Kumar with service weapon at their home in Allora village.
While Raj Kumari died on spot while Seema and Romesh were shifted to GMC Jammu in serious conditions. Later they succumbed to injuries, they said. “On this a Case has been registered at PS Satwari,” they said, adding, “Acting swiftly a team of policemen from Satwari police station arrested accused from Gajansoo.”
Confirming it, DIG Jammu Samba Range Vivek Gupta said that further investigation of the case is going on.
