42 travellers among 97 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 27: Forty-two travellers were among 97 new cases of novel coronavirus reported in Jammu and Kashmir even as no death due to the virus has been reported in the last 24 hours, officials said on Saturday.
Among the fresh infections, they said, 24 were from Jammu division and 73 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall case count to 126383.
Giving the district wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 44 cases, Baramulla 10, Budgam 3, Pulwama 3, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 8, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 4, Shopian 1, Jammu 11, Udhampur 11, Rajouri 0, Doda 1, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
Moreover 72 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—three from Jammu Division and 69 from Kashmir.
Out of 126383 cases, they said, 828 are active cases— 205 in Jammu division and 623 in the Valley. 123599 people have recovered while 1956 have died—725 in Jammu and 1231 in Kashmir.
