11 travellers among 68 new covid-19 cases, no death in J&K

Srinagar, Feb 20: Eleven travellers were among 68 new covid-19 cases of novel coronavirus reported even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.
They said 18 of these cases were reported from Jammu while 50 were from Kashmir Valley, taking the total cases so far in J&K to 125783—51842 in Jammu and 73941 in Kashmir.
Providing district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 24 cases, Baramulla 6, Budgam 1, Pulwama 7, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 6, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 2, Kulgam 2, Shopian 2, Jammu 10, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 2, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
Moreover, they said, 70 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—23 from Jammu Division and 47 from the Valley.
Also, 1954 people have so far died—725 in Valley and 1229 in Kashmir. There are 700 active cases, 147 in Jammu and 553 in the Valley, they added.
