63 fresh covid-19 cases, one death reported in J&K

Srinagar, Jan 28 : Twenty-four travelers were among 63 new covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total infection tally to 124297.
Among the fresh cases, the officials said that 18 were from Jammu Division and 45 from Kashmir Valley.
Meanwhile, 149 more covid-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals–97 from Jammu Division and 52 from Kashmir. With this, they said, the number of active cases has reduced to 963, less than a thousand for the first time in several months. Also, J&K reported one more death due to Covid-19 with the victim belonging to Jammu, taking the toll to 932.
