117 new covid-19 cases, one death reported in J&K

Srinagar, Jan 21: Ten travelers and a BSF trooper were among 117 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, officials said here Thursday. Also, one more person succumbed to the virus, taking the fatality count in J&K to 1924.
Giving breakup of the cases, they said, 42 were from Jammu Division and 75 from Kashmir Valley, taking the overall tally to 123764.
Regarding the cases, Srinagar reported 46 cases, Baramulla 2, Budgam 4, Pulwama 8, Kupwara 4, Anantnag 3, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 3, Kulgam 1, Shopian 3, Jammu 33, Udhampur 5, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 3, Samba 0, Kishtwar 1, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag.
The GMC Anantnag cases include male (51) from Traajan, male (51) from Gawas.
The CD cases include female (48) from Kanitar, male (07) from Lalbazar, two males (60, 34) from Trichal Pulwama, female (14) from Machama, male (65) from Pinglish, female (88) from Sanatnagar, female (70) from Kupwara, male (27) from Botakadal.
SKIMS cases include female (27) from BSF Humhama Srinagar, female (16) from Dalipora Nagam, male (55) from Nowgam Wanibal, female (27) from Dangerpora Check, female (30) from Nowpora Chadoora, female (46) from Soibugh Budgam, Ganderbal cases include female (50) from Waliwar Ganderbal.
Moreover, they said, 104 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 39 from Jammu Division and 65 from Kashmir Valley. So far 120729 have recovered while 1924 have dies, leaving the number o active positive cases at 1111.
