82 Fresh Covid-19 Cases, One Death Reported In J&K

Srinagar, Jan 18: Nine travelers were among 82 fresh covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 24 hours, taking the total tally to 123425, officials said on Monday. Also, one death was attributed to the virus was confirmed from Jammu division during the time, taking the death count to 1922.   Officials said that among the fresh cases 36 were from Jammu Division and 46 from Kashmir Valley. Giving district-wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 13 cases, Baramulla 0, Budgam 7, Pulwama 2, Kupwara 5, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 1, Ganderbal 13, Kulgam 1, Shopian 2, Jammu 26, Udhampur 4, Rajouri 0, Doda 0, Kathua 1, Samba 2, Kishtwar 2, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 3. Moreover, 194 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 123 from Jammu Division and 71 from Kashmir Valley.   There are now 1111 positive cases in J&K, they added.
