Mysterious explosion in Hiranagar Kathua

Jammu, Dec 30: A mysterious explosion shook Hiranagar area in Kathua district, forcing the security establishment to launch a massive search operation.
Official sources said a big-bang was heard in the district after which police and other security forces rushed to the spot. Entire area was cordoned off while senior police officers reached the spot, officials said.
“The nature of the explosion is mysterious as of now. We are ascertaining it,” a police source was quoted as saying by a local news agency.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu, Mukesh Singh said the incident said that a mysterious explosion took place near the religious place and searches are going on.
“Exact nature of explosion can be known once investigations are completed,” he said
