After 12th, she developed an interest in Arabic Calligraphy and during the time after the effective abrogation of Article 370 on 5 August 2019 and present pandemic, she got ample time to concentrate on her work. Aurooj says she developed such interest in art and thought of making it her profession. She got admitted in Kashmir University in fine arts this year. Her family and friends appreciated her work which encouraged her, she says.
“I upload my work on Instagram and if someone likes it, they order it. Now, I wrote Surah Ar Rahman and it took me 4 hours to complete it. In this lockdown, I tried to improve my work and focus on my weakness”.
