250 new covid-19 cases, 3 deaths in J&K

Srinagar, Dec 23: Fourteen travelers were among 250 new positive cases reported in J&K— 135 from Jammu and 115 from Kashmir Valley—in the last 24 hours, officials said on Wednesday. Also, three COVID-19 deaths have been reported, one from Jammu Division and two from Kashmir Valley.
Giving district-wise details, the officials said that Srinagar reported 49 cases, Baramulla 14, Budgam 17, Kupwara 7, Pulwama 13, Anantnag 1, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 6, Kulgam 2, Shopian 3, Jammu 98, Udhampur 8, Rajouri 10, Doda 5, Kathua 3, Kishtwar 1, Samba 5, Poonch 0, Ramban 5and Reasi 0. These cases take the overall number of people infected with the virus to 119053.
Moreover, they said, 338 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 139 from Jammu Division and 199 from Kashmir Valley.
