Srinagar, Dec 1: 2An army soldier died due to cardiac arrest during a cordon-and-search operation in South Kashmir’s Shopian district overnight, officials said on Saturday.
They said that the soldier of 162 Territorial Army identified as Abdul Majeed of Veer Bejbhera Anantnag suffered massive cardiac arrest during the CASO in Chitragam area of Zanipora.
He was immediately rushed to nearby army hospital here where doctors declared him brought dead, the officials said. He was currently posted with army’s 1 RR In Zanapora, the officials added.
