Srinagar, Dec 8 : Authorities on Tuesday closed Srinagar-Leh highway and Mughal Road, connecting Shopian and Poonch districts, following accumulation of snow.
Official sources said that Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari highway (Srinagar-Leh) highway and Mughal road were closed due to snow accumulation. However they said that Jammu-Srinagar highway, connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the world, was open. The official said that light motor vehicles are plying from Jammu towards Srinagar.
