J&K reports 470 new covid-19 cases, 6 deaths

Srinagar, Dec 8: Jammu and Kashmir reported 470 new cases of covid-19 in last 24 hours, taking the number of people infected with the virus to 114038. Six persons also succumbed to the disease, three each from Kashmir and Jammu regions.
Official sources told GNS on Tuesday that 277 were from Jammu Division and 193 from Kashmir Valley. Giving district wise details, they said, Srinagar reported 74, Baramulla 21, Budgam 43, Kupwara 20, Pulwama 10, Anantnag 7, Bandipora 6, Ganderbal 12, Kulgam 0, Shopian 0, Jammu 161, Udhampur 21, Rajouri 24, Doda 13, Kathua 13, Kishtwar 14, Samba 16, Poonch 3, Ramban 9 and Reasi 3.
Moreover, they said, 524 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals— 302 from Jammu Division and 222 from Kashmir.
