CB Files Chargesheet against man for cheating USA-Based Woman on pretext of building hut for her

Srinagar, Nov 10:: The Crime Branch Kashmir on Tuesday produced chargesheet in connection with a case of register eight years ago on a complaint by USA-based woman that she was cheated by a person on the pretext of constructing a hut for her in Kashmir Valley.
An officer of the Crime Branch said that the chargesheet in the case (FIR No 15/2012) was filed before the Court of City Judge Srinagar.
“The case pertains to the complaint of one Simon Kour Nanda R/O New Jersey, USA mentioning therein that the accused Pardeep Singh Bali son of Jagdesh Singh of Uller Rajpora Awantipora cheated her on the pretext of constructing a hut for her,” the officer said, adding, “As per the complaint, the hut was not handed over to her and the accused Pardeep Singh Bali grabbed a huge amount of money from her.”
