Militants Make Abortive Bid At CRPF In Sangam Anantnag

Srinagar, Oct 21: Militants on Wednesday made an abortive bid to target CRPF personnel along Jammu-Srinagar highway near Sangam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Official sources said the militants hurled a grenade at paramilitary force’s 89 battalion this evening. However there was no loss of life or injury reported in the incident. Soon after the attack whole area was cordoned off and hunt launched to nab the attackers.
