Sarpanch found hanging inside home in Bandipora

Bandipore, Oct 13: A Sarpanch was found hanging at his home in Zurimanz village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Tuesday.
They said his family members saw him hanging inside the house and immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Police said post-mortem and other medico-legal formalities have been done and further investigations are underway.
Police said proceedings under relevant sections of law have been initiated.
