44 travelers among 738 fresh cases, J&K tally crosses 80000 mark

Srinagar, Oct 06: Forty-four travelers were among 738 new covid-19 cases reported in Jammu and Kashmir in last 24 hours, taking the overall tally over 80000 mark.
Among the cases, officials said 290 were from Jammu Division and 448 from Kashmir Division which takes the overall count to 80476.
Giving district wise breakup, they said, Srinagar reported 183 cases, Budgam 46, Baramulla 37, Pulwama 55, Kupwara 42, Anantnag 22, Bandipora 30, Ganderbal 20, Kulgam 4, Shopian 9, Jammu 91, Rajouri 27,
Udhampur 14, Doda 26, Kathua 18, Poonch 12, Samba 29, Ramban 14, Kishtwar 31 and Reasi 28.
Meanwhile, 1706 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals— 1145 from Jammu Division and 561 from Kashmir Valley.
