Baramulla , Oct 2: An army soldier shot himself dead with his service rifle in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on last night, officials said on Friday.
A police officer said the soldier identified as Rakshit Kumar (22) of Samba Jammu from 2 JKLI shot himself with his service rifle at a post in Gohallan Uri of the district.
Police said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation started.
