LoC firing: Army denies mutilation of soldiers’ bodies

Srinagar, Sept 28: A soldier was injured in mortar FIRING by Pakistan army along the Line of Control in Machil sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, a defence ministry spokesman here said on Monday.
“Pakistan initiated an unprovoked ceasefire violation along LoC in (Machil) Sector, Kupwara today morning by firing Mortars and other weapons,” a the spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia said in a statement issued here. “Befitting response is being given,” he said, adding, “One soldier was injured and was evacuated to hospital where his condition is stable.”
