Pulwama, Sep 27: Two Lashker-e-Toiba militants were killed and an army soldier injured in a gunfight with a joint team of police, army and CRP in Samboora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
As per the reports, a joint team of Police, Army’s 50RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Samboora after receiving specific information.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, triggering off an encounter.
“Two LeT militants have been killed and an army soldier injured. The Operation is going on. Further details shall follow,“ a police official said.
