PDP’s Ganderbal Unit Demands Mehbooba Mufti’s Release

Srinagar, Sept 24: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a meeting of its Ganderbal unit. The meeting was presided over by Master Abdul Majeed Larwy and was attended by many leaders.
Threadbare discussions were held on the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir in general and the issues faced by the people, in particular the casual labourers and unemployed youth.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders in particular decried the onslaught Jammu and Kashmir is undergoing and vowed to fight for the rights and dignity of people of J&K.
They demanded the immediate release of party’s party Chief Mehbooba Mufti and other senior leaders besides all political detainees irrespective of their political ideology, whether lodged in Kashmir or outside.
The leaders was resolved that the party would continue to fight for resolution of the basic issue and advocate dialogue and reconciliation with all the stakeholders, as envisaged in the roadmap of PDP which has become even more relevant today than ever before.
The leaders also demanded immediate redressing of the grievances of all the casual labourers without any further delay.
The meeting also underlined the need of creating new avenues of employment for lakhs of unemployed youth in J&K.
