Assures outcome-based disposal of grievances
JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 18: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today chaired a public interaction programme here in which over hundred people including depuations and individuals apprised him of their problems.
The depuations, including J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates Association, Combine Group of Engineers, PDD Casual Labourers Union, representatives of Jr. Engineers Civil (PHE), Samajik Vikas Sanasthan, Shree Amritkund Pokhribal Committee and individuals hailing from Kathua, Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi, Doda, Ramnagar, Samba, Kishtwar, Udhampur districts called on the Advisor and informed him about their demands and issues related to road connectivity, water supply, power supply, JDA issues, relief compensation, law and order, road connectivity, lane and drain and many others.
The J&K Electrical Engineering Graduates Association members raised their issues related to promotions against clear vacancies at all levels and inclusion of PDD employees in frontline corona warriors. The PDD Casual Labourers Union demanded to register 870 casual workers in the department’s NIC portal.
A delegation led by former MLA Yogesh Sawhney also raised certain public issues related to up-gradation of lanes and drains, parking around Mubarak Mandi Heritage Project and others.
Many individuals raised their grievances regarding power and water supply, construction of link roads, release of funds under various schemes, removal of unauthorised encroachment on the government land at Rattanuchak etc.
The Advisor gave a patient hearing and assured to examine their demands and redress all the genuine concerns at the earliest. He also took up the issues with the concerned departments and directed the administrative secretaries for immediate redress of the same.
The Advisor also took stock of the grievances pertaining to the departments under his control. He assured that the Government would ensure outcome-based disposal of the issues raised by the people He also assured that the issues pertaining to other departments will be forwarded to the concerned for timely action.
