88 Travelers Among 546 New Covid-19 Cases In J&K, Srinagar Tally Crosses 9000 Mark

Srinagar, August 29: The Jammu and Kashmir reported 546 new cases of novel coronavirus including 88 travelers, taking the overall case tally to 36377.
Official sources said that among the cases, 332 were reported from Kashmir Valley and the remaining 214 from Jammu division.
Giving district-wise breakup of the cases, they said Srinagar reported 102, taking its total count to 9025 while Baramulla reported 18, Pulwama 105, Budgam 36, Anantnag22, Bandipora 49, Kupwara 31, Kulgam 12, Shopian 12 and Ganderbal 28.
Similarly, they said, Jammu district reported 134 new cases, Rajouri 9, Kathua 19, Udhampur 18, Samba 8, Ramban 1, Doda 10, Poonch 11, Reasi 4 while no case was reported in Kishtwar.
They said that 648 covid-19 patients were also discharged from various hospitals—119 from Jammu and 529 from Kashmir.
