Cop injured in accident in Handwara

Srinagar, Aug 28: A policeman was injured when a car hit a motorcycle driven by him near Chogul Handwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday. Official sources said that an accident took place on Sopore-Kupwara near Petrol pump Chogal when a WaganR car (JK01P-1320) hit the motorcycle (6502/05D) driven by policeman Tahir Ahmad Bhat of Lachampora Rajwar. The policeman was injured and was shifted to district hospital Handwara wherefrom he was referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, they added.
