Srinagar, August 14: Amid heightened security ahead of August 15, militants on Friday fired upon a police party in this Central Kashmir district, injuring two personnel.
Official sources said that the militants fired upon the police party, injuring two cops who were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, entire area has been cordoned off to nab attackers.
