Srinagar: On the auspicious occasion of marriage ceremony of one of Islamic Fraternity’s dedicated member, Mr. Hilal Ahmad Bangroo, Chairman Islamic Fraternity, Muhammad Aamir congratulated the member and wished him a happy married life.
Expressing joy over the ceremony which was solemnized in a simple manner, Aamir said that marriage is an important event that happens in one’s life and people should strictly follow Sunnah while solemnizing it.
“He (Hilal) has been the member of IF since more than a decade now. He has hugely contributed to IF by voluntarily offering services in number of programs. May the years ahead in his life be filled with lasting joy and peace,” chairman said in his congratulatory message to the member.
Citing different customs and traditions which he said have made the simple event of marriage costly, Aamir appealed people to curb such un-Islamic practices and make marriage ceremonies simple and easy.
“The social evils that are prevalent these days, many among them are because of many unIslamic practices followed in our weddings. We should limit if not completely stop them, to curb social evils in the society,” he said.
Aamir said that marriage at very young age should be encouraged as many research studies have proven that late marriages lead to several social and health issues.
