127 Test Positive, J&K Covid-19 Tally Mounts To 7093

Srinagar, June 28: Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday reported 127 new cases of covid-19 infections, taking the total tally of the covid-19 patients in J&K to 7093
Giving the district-wise break-up, officials said that 31 cases were reported from Srinagar followed by Budgam (22), Kupwara (16), Pulwama (11), Udhampur (10), Jammu (8), Kulgam (7), Baramulla (6), Ganderbal (4), Kathua (3), two each from Shopian, Anantnag and Doda besides one each from Bandipora, Ramban and Poonch.
Among the cases 47 were confirmed at SKIMS Bemina, 30 at CD hospital and at least 28 at SKIMS Soura laboratories.
Dr Riyaz Untoo, Principal SKIMS Bemina, said that out of 468 samples processed at the hospital’s lab, 47 tested positive for COVID-19, 24 from Budgam and 23 from Srinagar.
The Srinagar cases include male (46) and female (62) from Nowshera, male (36) from AwantaBhawan, male (38) from Kashmir University, male (32) from MerakShah Colony , male (38) from Traffic police-line, male (40) from Nowhatta, male (19) from Pattan, male (19) from Sopore , male (38) from Kuthwa, male (28) from Beerwah, male (39) from Salgam, male (56) from Charari-e-Shreef, male (45) from Zampkadal, female (52) from PeerBagh, female (38) from Hyderpora, male (41) from (NA), female (20) from Khunmoo, two females (60,61) from Jawhar Nagar, two females (45, 18) from Sheribhat and male (22) from Bagi Ali Mardan
The Budgam cases males (39, 35, 19, 55, 50, 26) and females (65, 42, 26) from Chadoora, female (16) and male (11) from Tujna, male (32) from Wadwan, female (28) from Farashigund, two males (8, 9) and two females (36, 18) from Khanshab, male (44) and four females (28, 65, 12, 42) from Yarikhah, male (35) from Yarihama and male (29) from Rizwan Budgam.
Dr. G H Yatoo, Nodal Officer Coronavirus Control Measures at the SKIMS Soura, said that out of the total 1777 samples processed at the viral diagnostic lab of the hospital, 28 tested positive.
Professor Farooq Jan, Medical Superintendent SKIMS Soura, said that among the positive cases, nine are from Pulwama, seven from Kulgam, six from Srinagar two each from Kupwara and Anantnag besides one each from Baramulla and Bandipora.
The seven from Kulgam include female (17) from N S Pora, male (65) and female (21) from Harweth, male (35) from Hangalbush, male (58) from Dadipora, male (36) from K B Pora and male (70) from Yaripora Kulgam
The eight Srinagar cases include male (36) from Baghwanpora, male (40) from Hathi Khan, male (27) from Soura, female (45) from Safakadal, two male (21, 77) from Bemina, male (38) from Nowgam Srinagar and female (22) from Lalbazar Srinagar.
Nine from Pulwama include four males (48, 80, 43, 60) and female (45) from Draklaran Abhama, male (45) from Shair Shaili, two males (28, 24) from Ladhoo Pampore , male (40) from Awantipora.
The two cases from Anantnag include male (35) from Bidder and male (45) from Shangus while Kupwara cases are male (31, 45) from DPL Handwara besides male (22) from Kunzar Baramulla, female (60) from Hajin Bandipora.
The CD cases include seven males (34, 37, 40, 25, 32, 33, 35) from 109 RCC Trehgam, four females (30, 25, 22, 19) and male (05) from Halmatpora, male (20) and female (50) from Vodpora, two females (16, NA) from Shopian, female (55) from Khejipora Baramulla, male (25) from Pattan Baramulla, male (32) from Parra Mohalla Pattan , female (NA) from Bemina, male (46) from Khanmoo Srinagar, male (40) from Kangan, male (23) from Paulpora Srinagar, male (14) from Srinagar and three males (40, 45, 43) from Wakura.
