Poonch, June 14: An army soldier was killed and two others were injured in shelling and firing by Pakistan army along LoC at Kerni sector in Poonch district, officials said on Sunday.
A police official told a local news agency that during the shelling in Kerni sector, one army soldier, identified as Sepoy Luingambui Abonmei of 10 Asam regiment, was killed and two others, Lelienkothein Senghon and Tangsoik Kwianiungar, were injured.
Both the injured have been airlifted to Udhampur command hospital for advanced treatment, the official added.
