Kansal among 4 officers transferred

Srinagar: In the interest of administration, the government on Friday ordered transfer and posting of Rohit Kansal, (IAS), Principal Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department, as Principal Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department. He shall hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Department, Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited and Managing Director, J&K Power Corporation Limited, in addition to his own duties, till further orders. “He shall also hold the charge of Principal Secretary (Coordination) to coordinate with Government of India for review and monitoring of issues/projects,” reads an order issued here
M. Raju (IAS), Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Government, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department. He shall also hold the charge of Administrative Secretary, Hospitality & Protocol, Estates, Civil Aviation Departments and Managing Director, J&K Project Construction Corporation Limited, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Meanwhile, Sachin Jamwal (KAS), Deputy Secretary to the Government, School Education Department and Hitesh Gupta (KAS), Collector, Land Acquisition, Public Works (R&B), Jammu, have been transferred and shall work with the Committee constituted for Accelerated Recruitments vide Government Order No. 559-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated 14.05.2020, on full time basis, till further orders. “The salary of the officers shall be drawn from the General Administration Department,” reads a separate order issued by the government.
