24 more people test positive for Covid-19 in Kashmir

Srinagar: The number of covid -19 cases continued to rise in Jammu and Kashmir as 24 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus that takes the total tally to 725 in the J&K.
Officials said 20 cases were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab at SKIMS and four others at Covid-19 testing lab at Chest Disease Hospital Dalgate.
Among the fresh cases include 12 from Baramulla, four from Budgam and two each from Srinagar, Shopian, Bandipora and one each from Pulwama and Poonch district.
With these fresh cases, the total number of cases has risen to 725 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Bandipora has 130 positive cases followed by Srinagar with 108 cases, Anantnag 106, Baramulla 93, Shopian 82, Kupwara 66, Budgam 30, Ganderbal 14 (no active case), 11 Kulgam, Pulwama 9 (5 active)
Similarly, Jammu has 26 positive cases and all of them have recovered followed by Udhampur 20, Samba 7, Rajouri 4 while Kathua, Kishtwar, Ramban, Poonch and Reasi districts have one case each and except for Kishtwar all of them are ‘active positive’
