J&K’s COVID-19 Tally: 500 And Counting

Anantnag: The number of novel coronavirus cases in Jammu and Kashmir crossed 500-mark on Sunday as nine persons in Anantnag district of south Kashmir tested positive for the disease.
Official sources said of these nine cases, seven are from Nowgam while one each is from Tailwani Achabal and Khul areas. Anantnag district now has 46 cases while these fresh cases have taken J&K’s tally over 500. Also sample reports of other districts are awaited and the number of cases could rise by evening. unconfirmed reports suggest 16 samples returned positive at SKIMS laboratory and include 8 from Bandipora, 7 from Baramulla and one from Kupwara. Tentatively, the overall tally stands at 521. However official confirmation is awaited.
