Jammu: Militants on Monday carried out an attack on a police party in Kishtwar district of Jammu division, killing a cop and injuring other. The militants decamped with rifles of both the men before escaping from the scene, officials said.
The attack took place in Dachan village of Kishtwar this afternoon and it was not immediately known whether militants carried attack by axe or any other weapon. Confirming with killing of the policeman and critical injuries to another personnel, a police officer said reinforcements of security forces have been rushed to the area.
