Srinagar: One of the two CRPF personnel injured in a militant attack in Bijbhera area of Anantnag district has succumbed to injuries, official sources said on Tuesday.
They said that suspected militants hurled the grenade at CRPF party and followed it with firing as result of which two troopers suffered injuries and were removed to hospital. However, of them, Shiv Lal Netam from Chhattisgarh was declared brought dead by the doctors. Meanwhile, the forces have cordoned off the area and started searches. There was no official confirmation regarding the blast so far.
