Shopian K-Oil dealers donate Rs 50,000

SHOPIA: Extending a helping hand to tackle the deadly pandemic caused by Coronavirus, the kerosene oil dealers of district Shopian contributed Rs.50,000 to Covid-19 relief fund.
District president of the K.oil dealers, Javeed Ahmad donated a cheque to District Magistrate(DM), Shopian, Choudhary Muhammad Yasin in his office chamber in presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Assistant Director, Food Civil Supplies and other officials and officers.
On the occasion, the president said that this contribution is a humble gesture of support of the kerosene oil dealers towards the district administration in its fight against the disease. He further said that the kerosene oil dealers of the district are trying to help the needy through district administration at these trying times and are appealing for help from all resourceful persons of the district.
The DM appreciated the kerosene oil dealers of the district for their contribution To COVID-19 fund and advised people to stay at their homes so that the deadly disease is contained.
