Police seals shop, arrests its owner in Ganderbal

Srinagar: Police Saturday sealed a shop and arrested shopkeeper for violation lockdown orders in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Officials said, a police team alongwith a magistrate sealed the shop and arrested its owner at Dangarpora Chowk for violating the lockdown orders issued by the District Magistrate Ganderbal, in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.
A case FIR No. 09/2020 U/S 188 IPC stands registered against the violator in Police Station KheerBhawani, he said.
Police again requests the general public to follow the restrictions and advisories imposed by the government and isolate themselves in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 for their own well being and others.
