SRINAGAR: According to a statement issued by Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) that the Annual Regular Examination of Higher Secondary (Class 12th) commenced today.

Around 48,000 students of Kashmir division appeared in the examination.  As many as 433 centres besides a special centre for specially-abled students had been set up at BOSE Campus Bemina, Srinagar.

The statement further reads that around 99.5% students appeared in the examination for which fool-proof arrangements were made. Flying squads were constituted for monitoring the examination. Adequate security measures in and around the examination centres were also taken by the administration.
