One militant killed, soldier injured in Sopore gunfight

Srinagar: One militant has been killed and an army man was injured during gunfight  which broke out between militants and government forces in Malmapanpora area of Warpora of North Kashmir’s Sopore on Saturday.

Police sources confided that a militant has been killed and also one army solider received bullet wounds.

He has been shifted to a hospital.

The officer further said that the operation is underway in the area.

Earlier reports said that a joint team of Army’s 22RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Malmaponpora.
