Kupwara: One person has been injured in the cross LOC exchange of fire in Tangdhar area of Kupwara district on Tuesday.

Reports said that the person had received splinter injuries in his head and was quickly evacuated to medical facility where he is under treatment.

India and Pakistan armies traded gunfire along LOC and used mortar shells against each other.

The exchange of fire was going on when last reports came in.
