Comprehensive youth benefit plan in Agriculture sector on anvil: Div Com

Srinagar: To provide more benefits to unemployed youth and also boost new techniques in Agriculture, Horticulture and other allied sectors, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan today directed the concerned departments to prepare a comprehensive youth benefit plan. Under the plan, the Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal & Sheep Husbandries and Fisheries departments have been directed to prepare a complete area specific report which includes economically viable activities, Bulgarian and Italian apple production, cold system chains, back yard poultry, fish ponds, marketing, transportation, bank linkages, subsides, distribution of free mechanised tools and other necessary components. The comprehensive youth benefit plan will be formulated for the unemployed youth who want to choose agriculture or its allied sector as their career and it should reach to the Divisional Commissioners office within 20 days for further course of necessary action.
