Ganderbal: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a drug peddler in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district with 19 bottles of Codeine phosphate.
An official said that one person namely Mohammad Ibrahim Bhat son of Mohammad Ramzan Bhat resident of Waripora Safapora was intercepted by naka party laid at Waripora Safapora.
“19 bottles of codeine phosphate recovered from his possession,” he said.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 11/2019 U/S 8/22 NDPS ACT in Police Station Safapora and investigation taken up.
