Sopore: One militant has been killed so far in the gunbattle between militants and forces in Gundbrath area of Sopore in Baramulla district.

The gunfight broke out in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

According to officials sources one body has been recovered while searches are continuing in the area.

Earlier, forces had launched Cordon And Search Operation in the area following specific inputs about militants hiding in the area.

Identity of the slain militant has not been revealed yet.
