Srinagar: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested four drunkards for creating nuisance in old city Srinagar’s Library Park Malikyar area.

They were found in a state of intoxication and were causing annoyance to general public under the influence of  liquor, drugs, police said

The arrested have been identified as Sheikh Waseem S/o Mohd Shafi Sheikh, age 30, Parvez Ahmed Khan s/o Ab Qayoom khan age 45, both residents of Old Fatehkadal.

The other two arrested are Zahoor Ahmed Baba S/o Mohd Ramzan Baba R/o Zainakadal,age 38 and Javed Ahmed Sheikh S/o Gh Mohd Sheikh R/o Tral A/P Habbakadal age 24.

“All the accused were apprehended after proper medico-legal formalities where Doctors after conducting medical examination confirmed that they all have taken intoxicating drugs and are in a state of intoxication,” police said.
