Ganderbal: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a non local bootlegger in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district and have also recovered illicit liquor from h is possession.

An official said that the arrest was made during naka checking at Power house Kangan.

The arrested bootlegger has been identified as Suleiman Hashim Ansari@ Danish son of Hashim Ansari resident of Najeeb Abad Bijnoor UP presently Residing at Tawheed pora Kangan.

A case has been registered FIR NO 37/2019 US 48 EXCISE Act in police station Kangan and investigation has been taken up.
