33,694 Yatris Visit Cave Shrine So Far

srinagar:  On the 3rd day of the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra, 13,835 Yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave. Till date, 33,694 Yatris had the darshan of the Shivling at the Holy Cave.

Meanwhile, on the directions of Governor Satya Pal Malik, Chairman Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, 04 pilgrims were evacuated by air.

One yatri namely, Pawan Kumar Gupta, resident of Fatehpur, UP was airlifted from Panjtarni and referred to Medical Hospital Phalagam for treatment while as 03 others, namely Prabhu Kumar, resident of Ludhiana , Balwinder Singh, resident of Chandigarh and Diksha Arora, resident of Moga were airlifted from Sheshnag.

Governor has directed the authorities to provide best medical facilities to the sick pilgrims.
