Srinagar: The young man who was shot at by unknown gunmen on Sunday in Baramullah’s Old Town area has  succumbed to his injuries at Srinagar’s SMHS hospital. He breathed his last on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Sameer Ahmad Ahanger (25), reports said.

He was fatally wounded by bullets in abdomen and leg.

“Police has also taken cognizance of the incident and further investigations taken up,” the officer said.
