CASO in Sopore village, militants reportedly escape in Hajin after brief gunfight

Srinagar: Government forces on Friday launched a cordon-and-search operation in Wahidpora area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
An official said that 5RR, SOG of police from Ganderbal launched the CASO after inputs about the presence of militants. The CASO in the area has been launched in the area for the first time in several years.
