Tral shuts on second day to mourn killing of JeM commander

Pulwama: A complete shutdown is being observed in Tral area of this south Kashmir district on the second consecutive day Thursday against the killing of a local militant in Brenpathri village.
All the shops and other business establishments are closed in the area while as traffic is off the roads.
The militant Shabir Ahmad Malik of Nagbal village in Tral was killed in an “encounter” with government forces and he was reportedly affiliated with AGH outfit.
Amid sloganeering and mourning, he was later laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard.
Meanwhile, people continued to visit slain militant’s home to express sympathies with the bereaved family.
