Srinagar: One militant have been killed in the encounter between militants and government forces in Branpatri forests area of Kahlil Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Reports said that the body of the slain has been recovered.

A joint team of Army’s 42RR , 180BN of CRPF and SOG launched a cordon and search operation in the area earlier.

The operation is on going and searches are being conducted by forces.
