Anantnag: A walnut factory was gutted in a fire incident in Papyibal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district late last night.

Reports said that a walnut factory belongs to Abdul Majeed resident of Papyibal Moominabad caught fire resulting damages to property worth lacks.

Locals said that before the fire tenders could reach the spot, fire spread to whole walnut factory and turned it into ashes.

There was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the fire incident.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
