Rajouri: One person was killed and other received injuries after lightening struck Bari Darhal area in Rajouri district in Jammu division of the J&K state.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Razaq Chowdhary, a resident of Bari Darhal.

Officials said that the incident happened during intervening night of Thursday and Friday.

The deceased was inside hut when the lightening struck the area. He died on the spot.
