Ganderbal: A motorcyclist and another youth, riding pillion, were killed when tipper hit their motorbike in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district last evening, officials said on Wednesday.
The truck bearing registration number JK03-7541 hit the motorbike (JK01AA-5371) at Neitang Lar area of on Tuesday evening, resulting in the on the spot death of the motorcyclist Uzair Ahmad Lone son of Showkat Ahmad Lone of Duderhama Ganderbal while his pillion rider—Usaid Yousuf Bhat son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, also resident Duderhama, died in SKIMS, succumbing to his injuries at the tertiary care hospital where he was admitted in very critical condition.
A police officer said that police have taken cognizance and further investigations have been taken up.
